I've been there

I’m Thomas Duthie — and I truly get it. I wasn’t just the “troubled teen.” I lived the full chaos: the ADHD struggles, the frustration, feeling constantly misunderstood, the lack of focus and direction… and yes, my own run-ins with the law that came with it.

I’ve been exactly where you (or your son) are right now — and I’ve come out the other side. That’s why my clients actually trust the process. They’re not just talking to someone who studied ADHD in a book. They’re working with someone who’s lived it every single day — and still does.

Together we’ll:

  • Identify what you actually want (not what others expect of you)

  • Build real confidence and self-belief that lasts

  • Create practical strategies and coping mechanisms that fit your brain

  • Turn your ADHD traits (and the chaos that comes with them) into superpowers instead of obstacles

I specialise in helping young men aged 13–25 move from feeling lost, frustrated, and stuck — to focused, capable, and proud of who they are.

What they say

Client experiences

'His second gift is related to parent coaching and how he can relay the teen ADHD logic to the adults in a way that we also can understand.  Tom is a perceptive listener. He asks questions and can then explain how my son is processing his experiences and world through the ADHD lens in a way that my son has been unable to articulate.  As a parent, this is an invaluable resource, as he has provided insights into my son’s logic and this has saved me from jumping to the wrong conclusions or taking actions that I would have probably regretted or would have resulted in a further deterioration of an already fragile relationship.'

Ana, NYC (Mum)

'I Didnt want to use Tom or have any coach but once I got to know him I realised he is one of us rather than some teacher or social worker.

Now I call him every time i'm in a sticky one'

Tom is much more than my therapist. He is more like an older brother who actually understands how I am functioning. He’s super nice and also funny, which makes sessions way less awkward and intimidating than I expected.

The coolest part about him is that he has ADHD himself, so he actually gets it. I don’t have to struggle to explain how my brain works or feel judged, because he’s been there. He gives real good advice that actually helps me deal with stuff, instead of just giving me textbook answers. He really is the right person to talk to if you struggle with ADHD.
